Invite-only communities
Each local has a unique invite code. You control who joins — no open signups, no strangers in your market.
Event-based ordering cycles
Run ordering in rounds tied to collection events. Members order, you confirm, suppliers are notified — all automatically.
Automated supplier orders
When you confirm an event, purchase orders are emailed to each supplier automatically — with a full breakdown of what's needed.
Invoicing at confirmation
Members receive itemised invoices as soon as you confirm their order. Payment instructions and EFT details are included automatically.
Private events
Mark an event as private and hand-pick which members can see and participate in it. Useful for smaller group orders or member trials.
Collection slot booking
Members book their own collection time slots directly on the platform. You set the window and duration, they pick a time — no scheduling back-and-forth, no third-party booking tools needed.
Pickup instructions
Set a custom pickup message with dynamic variables like member name, booking time, and collection address — sent automatically with every invoice.
Stock management
Track available stock per product per event. Members only see what's actually available — no over-ordering.
EFT discount support
Offer a discount for EFT payments to reduce card processing costs. Applied automatically on provisional invoices.
Fair, fixed platform fee
A flat fee per event — not a percentage of every order. Growth in your local benefits your community, not the platform.

helyi is a complete platform — ordering, invoicing, supplier communication, stock, payments, collection scheduling, and member management are all built in and work together. If you find yourself reaching for a spreadsheet, printing anything out, or copying data between tools, something has gone wrong. It shouldn't work like that.
Running fewer, better-coordinated orders means less food waste, less packaging, and fewer trips. Members collect once. Suppliers deliver once. Less back-and-forth, less carbon.
Your community is yours — not ours to monetise
helyi is not in the business of turning your community into a product. We charge a fixed fee per event — not a percentage that grows with every transaction, and not advertising revenue extracted from the relationships you've built. There's no hidden motive behind the tools we give you.
Your member list, your order history, your supplier relationships — that's your data. We hold it only to help you run your Local. If you ever leave, it goes with you.
Running a Local is more than just running a market
Every Local you run contributes to helyi's ability to offer free Locals in communities that couldn't otherwise participate. The platform fee your members pay funds the infrastructure that makes that possible — so the work you do here has reach beyond your own community.
